How do I buy tickets to a DDT performance?+
Tickets for the 20th Anniversary Season opener — Through the Dark, The Light Beckons at Publick Playhouse (Sat Oct 10 · 7:00–8:30 PM and Sun Oct 11 · 4:00–5:30 PM) — are on sale now via pgparks.com/PublickPlayhouse. You do not need a Parks Direct account — simply click "Continue as a Guest" at checkout. To purchase by phone, call the Publick Playhouse Box Office at 301-277-1710. How do I book DDT for my venue, gala, or event?+
Dissonance Dance Theatre books presenting engagements, galas, corporate & conference events, museum programs, residencies, and tours through 2028. The company travels self-contained and performs comfortably in ballrooms, atriums, and museum halls as well as traditional theaters. Booking window is 2026–2028. Full formats, cast configurations, technical specs, and past presenting history are on the Booking page. Direct inquiries to sshort@ngcfddt.org — we respond within five business days with a booking packet.
How do I audition for Dissonance Dance Theatre?+
DDT holds open auditions periodically throughout the year. Visit our Auditions page for current requirements, video submission guidelines, and upcoming audition dates. Contracts are paid. DDT welcomes dancers of all backgrounds trained in ballet, contemporary, and Afro-modern technique.
How do I enroll my child in The Ngoma School?+
The Ngoma School accepts students ages 5–18 in pre-professional dance training. Enrollment is open on a rolling basis. Financial assistance is available. Contact us at info@ngcfddt.org with your child's age and experience level, or visit the Ngoma School page for full details.
How do I get press credentials for a DDT performance?+
Media credentialing requests should be sent to info@ngcfddt.org with the subject line "Press Inquiry." Please include your publication or outlet, the performance you wish to cover, and your deadline. We respond to press requests within 24 hours. For past press coverage, annual reports, and press releases from 2015 through the current season, visit our Press archive.
How can my organization partner with Ngoma?+
Ngoma Center for Dance welcomes partnerships with schools, arts organizations, corporations, and government agencies. We offer co-presentation, residency, outreach, and education partnerships. Contact us at info@ngcfddt.org with the subject line "Partnership Inquiry" to begin a conversation.
