Building Aspiring Young Adult Dancers in the DC Area

Are you a young adult dancer between the ages of 18-27, aspiring for a career in the professional contemporary dance world?

Ngoma Center for Dance launches its newest artist development program, WorkForce: DanceDC. WorkForce:DanceDC is a new development in Ngoma Center for Dance’s school, The Ngoma School.

A new alternative to a traditional trainee dance program, WorkForce:DanceDC provides up till eight dance classes a week, career consultation, and mentorship.

Exceptional students may have the opportunity to audition for Dissonance Dance Theatre’s Trainee program. Classes currently on Saturdays with additional classes this Summer; Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays starting this Fall.

Dance Offerings:
The Ngoma School – School Year Program Classes
($120 a month (up till four classes a week/Originally $257)
Summer DanceLab – One To Four Weeks, Five classes daily
Reduced tuition ($500, Originally $1,800) Masterclasses – Free
